A Hong Kong prisoner of war for four years, he has become a pillar of the community of Québec City, respected and admired by both French and English for his volunteer commitment to countless health, religious, military and charitable organizations. Without his dedicated efforts, many groups would find themselves at an immense loss, for it would take several individuals to replace him and few would have his unique combination of leadership, energy and sincerity.
