Following a distinguished career in the private sector, he served his country with dedication and integrity as Auditor General of Canada. In the performance of his duties, he demonstrated remarkable professionalism and probity. Respected by both his peers and the government, he contributed to the development of a more effective management of public funds and to a renewal of the auditing function. A member of the Board of Governors of the Canadian Comprehensive Auditing Foundation, he is also an honorary member of the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario.
