He produced films in every province of Canada and in the Arctic, as well as in many countries of Europe and Africa. Called on by the United Nations on three separate occasions, he covered the U.N.'s work during China's civil war and the police action in Korea, and produced a report on Australia's film industry. He was the longest-serving Director of Production at the National Film Board of Canada - a total of 11 years. The more than 300 films he produced, directed and photographed have enriched our country.
