Pediatric neurosurgeon James Drake is a leader in the treatment of complex childhood disorders. Professor of surgery at the University of Toronto and surgeon-in-chief at the Hospital for Sick Children, he has developed innovative engineering applications to neurosurgery, notably in the treatment of hydrocephalus. He has advised his fellow specialists on the advancement of minimally invasive techniques, such as image-guided surgery using robotics. In addition to building and leading a world-class pediatric neurosurgery program, he shares his expertise by mentoring others in the field.
