Chantal Juillet is one of the best-known names on the international music scene. This brilliant violinist has been invited to play with the most prestigious orchestras in the world. Her career, the result of an inquisitive and innovative spirit, has led her to the works of contemporary composers, including Canadian composers, whom she has endeavoured to bring to the Canadian and international forefront. In addition to serving as musical director of the Saratoga Chamber Music Festival for over 15 years, she was the director of the chamber music department of the Pacific Music Festival in Sapporo, Japan, and is dedicated to teaching the next generation of young musicians.
