He is a successful corporate leader whose generosity has benefited both the business world and his community. Beginning his career as a civil engineer, he went on to head PCL Construction Group Inc. and has served on the board of directors of many leading national companies. This philanthropist has contributed to numerous local and provincial charities and institutions, in particular the Edmonton Community Foundation and the University of Alberta. In addition, he helped establish the Stollery Children's Health Centre and the Northern Alberta Children's Hospital. A frequent guest speaker, he also shares his convictions and fosters in others this willingness to give.
