Journalist, critic and author, Monique Duval endeavours to popularize the intimate details of Québec's history that are to be found in its streets, buildings and public squares. In her articles reporting on travels abroad, she has opened up new horizons for her fellow citizens. Named an honorary Acadian by the Association France-Amérique of Louisiana and an honorary citizen of the city of Lafayette, she has forged bonds of friendship within the international French-speaking community.
