John Bradford is one of Canada's leading forensic psychiatrists. Widely known for his innovative research on the assessment and treatment of sexual offenders, he has advocated for increased health care services for mentally ill offenders. A professor at both the University of Ottawa and Queen's University, he is the founder of the Royal Ottawa Health Care Group's Sexual Behaviours Clinic, as well as the Canadian Academy of Psychiatry and the Law. A mentor to many young psychiatrists, he continues to promote excellence in education and clinical practice.
