Douglas Coupland is a boundary-blurring writer and visual artist who explores the 21st-century human condition. His many non-fiction and artistic investigations have redefined what being æCanadianÆ can mean. His works of art and memorial sculptures span the country, most notably VancouverÆs Terry Fox Memorial, and he has authored everything from biographies of our national icons to a collection of essays celebrating the city of Vancouver. His literary works have been published in over 30 languages, and he has also written and performed for EnglandÆs Royal Shakespeare Company.
