Ray Tanguay’s exemplary leadership has long been a pillar of Canada’s automotive
sector. Former president and chair of Toyota Canada, he helped to significantly
expand Canada’s auto manufacturing industry. Job creation, innovation and stability
were the hallmarks of his tenure, and he helped chart the way forward for Toyota as
a multinational corporation. One of the most trusted voices in his field, he is called
upon to advise both provincial and federal governments, and is a founding member of
the Canadian Automotive Partnership Council.
