On June 28, 2012, Michael Dietrich and Dario Kenk rescued a man from a burning vehicle, on Highway 401, in Milton, Ontario. The truck had crashed into and became wedged against a concrete barrier, where it caught fire. Despite the intense smoke and flames, both rescuers managed to pull the trapped driver out through the driver-side window of the vehicle and carry him to safety.
