On February 17, 2012, Robert Colmor rescued a co-worker following an explosion at a factory in Pohénégamook, Quebec. The man was caught on a ladder by his clothing, which was in flames, some 13 metres above the ground. Mr. Colmor managed to reach the man and cut him free from his clothes with a pocket knife. He then carried the victim on his shoulder down the ladder and outside to safety.
