Symbolism

As a branch of Her Majesty’s Canadian Armed Forces, the Royal Canadian Air Force uses as its Command Colour a blue flag with the Badge of the Royal Canadian Air Force in its centre. The maple leaves in the corners symbolize the “four corners of the world” in which the Air Force might be called to serve.
