The Office of the Secretary to the Governor General is pleased to announce that 98 remarkable individuals have been awarded Meritorious Service Decorations.

His Excellency the Right Honourable Richard Wagner, P.C., Administrator of the Government of Canada, welcomed one high commissioner and four new ambassadors to Canada during a virtual ceremony on Monday, March 22, 2021.

Brigadier-General the Honourable John James Grant, C.M., C.M.M., O.N.S., C.D. (Ret’d), was invested virtually into the Order of Canada.

As Canadians mark National Volunteer Week, the Office of the Secretary to the Governor General is pleased to recognize 141 individuals as recipients of the Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers.

During a series of private virtual ceremonies, His Excellency the Right Honourable Richard Wagner, P.C., Administrator of the Government of Canada, presented a variety of Canadian honours.
