Her Excellency the Right Honourable Louise Arbour, Governor General and Commander-in-Chief of Canada, participated in a commemorative ceremony recognizing the 100th anniversary of The Royal Canadian Legion at the National War Memorial, in Ottawa.
The Governor General delivered short remarks and laid a wreath at the ceremony.
For a century, The Royal Canadian Legion has supported our veterans during and beyond their years of service,
while keeping their stories alive and paying tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
