Their Excellencies the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, and Mr. Whit Fraser attended a reception hosted by the Honourable Raymonde Gagné, Speaker of the Senate, and the Honourable Francis Scarpaleggia, Speaker of the House of Commons.

The event gave parliamentarians the opportunity to bid farewell to Their Excellencies and to thank Her Excellency for her service over the last five years.
