The Honourable Suzanne Côté, Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada and Deputy of the Governor General, to welcome six new heads of mission to Canada

OTTAWA, Ontario— On behalf of Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, the Honourable Suzanne Côté, Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada and Deputy of the Governor General, will receive the credentials of six new heads of mission during a ceremony at Rideau Hall.

The Governor General is recovering in residence. She looks forward to resuming her full duties soon and thanks Canadians for their support.

The following heads of mission will present their credentials to officially begin their diplomatic missions:

His Excellency Miklós Lengyel
Ambassador-designate of Hungary

His Excellency Andrej Medica
Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Slovenia

His Excellency Md. Jashim Uddin
High Commissioner-designate for the People’s Republic of Bangladesh

Her Excellency Dora Francisca Edu-Buandoh
High Commissioner-designate for the Republic of Ghana

His Excellency Bachir Tawk
Ambassador-designate of the Lebanese Republic

Her Excellency Lay Ling Ang
High Commissioner-designate for Brunei Darussalam
