Team Canada Celebration
The Governor General welcomed over 200 Olympians, Paralympians and coaches to celebrate their success at the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Games.
To celebrate the success of our Canadian athletes at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, the Office of the Secretary to the Governor General partnered with the Department of Canadian Heritage, the Canadian Olympic Committee and the Canadian Paralympic Committee to offer a morning of sporting activities and the opportunity for the public to meet with Team Canada Olympians and Paralympians.

The Governor General delivered remarks and congratulated all of Team Canada athletes on their outstanding performances at the PyeongChang Winter Games. Team Canada won a total of 29 Olympic medals and 28 Paralympic medals, a new Canadian record at Winter Games.
