Visit to the Northwest Territories - November 15, 2017
Her Excellency the Right Honourable Julie Payette, Governor General of Canada, visited Yellowknife, Inuvik and Tuktoyaktuk on her first official visit to the Northwest Territories.
During the ceremony, local youth sang the Canadian Anthem.

People from all over the region gathered in the Tuktoyaktuk arena for the last portion of the opening ceremonies of the Inuvik Tuktoyaktuk Highway.

The Inuvik Tuktoyaktuk Highway is a collaborative project that aims to improve the quality of services and reduce the cost of living in the region.
