His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, participated in the Pan Am Games Torch Relay at Rideau Hall, in Ottawa, on June 30, 2015. The torch arrived at Sussex Gate at 10:11 a.m. and made its way to the official residence at 10:15 a.m. The torch relay started in Canada on May 30, 2015, and will end its 41-day journey on July 10, 2015, at the Opening Ceremony of the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games.
