Memorial in Lac-Mégantic
Only a few blocks away from where the tragedy took place, two giants screens were installed for the entire community to pay tribute to the numerous victims who died.

Their Excellencies the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, and Mrs. Sharon Johnston attended a memorial honouring the numerous victims who lost their lives in the tragedy that struck Lac-Mégantic on July 6, 2013. Other dignitaries were also in attendance.
