Later in the afternoon, Her Excellency delivered a keynote address at the third Edith Aston-McCrimmon Lecture Series on “The Adaptability of Rehabilitation Science: A Half-Century Perspective from a SPOT Grad” to School of Physical and Occupational Therapy (SPOT) faculty, students and alumni.

Upon arrival, Her Excellency Sharon Johnston attended the inauguration of the Benefactors' Lounge in Davis House, home to the Faculty of Medicine's School of Physical and Occupational Therapy. Dr. David Eidelman, Vice-Principal (Health Affairs) and Dean of Medicine at McGill, and Dr. Annette Majnemer, Director and Associate Dean of the School of Physical and Occupational Therapy, gave remarks on this occasion.
