Dedication of Diamond Jubilee Park
Upon the invitation of His Worship Jim Watson, Mayor of the City of Ottawa, His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, took part in the official dedication of Diamond Jubilee Park.

The new park, located in Ottawa’s Findlay Creek community, is named in honour of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee, and will serve as a permanent commemoration of this year’s worldwide celebration of her 60 years of reign as Queen.
