Visit to the Citadelle of Québec - Day 1
On September 19, 2011, His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, received the credentials of twelve heads of diplomatic missions during two ceremonies at the Citadelle of Québec.
Representatives from Armenia, France, Latvia, Georgia, Korea and Angola presented their credentials during the morning ceremony.

In the evening, His Excellency present the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award certificates to 80 young recipients from Quebec, at the Château Frontenac. "The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is a wonderful tribute to the dreams and achievements of youth. And, by encouraging excellence, these awards make a vital contribution to our future well-being", said His Excellency.
