His Excellency, accompanied by the Venerable Canon Charles Samuel (left), Archdeacon for Upper North Malaysia, and Reverend Andrew Phang (right), Assistant Bishop, took part in a walking tour of St. George’s Anglican Church. Completed in 1808, it is the oldest Anglican church in Southeast Asia.

A panel discussion on the topic of “How the Intersection of University Arts and Science Programs can Contribute to the Private Sector” and a question period with Canadian delegates and Malaysian counterparts followed the keynot address by the Governor General.
