As patron of the Community Foundations of Canada, His Excellency met with its representatives from Newfoundland and Labrador to learn about their current activities and projects. The Governor General also delivered an address on his vision for Canada’s 150th anniversary in 2017 and emphasized the role that community foundations can play in achieving that vision.
