Event to Celebrate Women for Mental Health Initiative
Her Excellency Sharon Johnston hosted an event in honour of the philanthropic program Women for Mental Health, at Rideau Hall. Her Excellency delivered a speech celebrating women who are leaders in their communities and who work to raise awareness in the area of mental health. She thanked them for their work, devotion, determination and passion, but also for their vision and their common goal: to open and advance conversation on mental health issues.

Ms. Scott-Mignon is devoted to the cause and has done great work in reducing the stigmas surrounding mental illness.
