STATE VISIT TO THE REPUBLIC OF GUATEMALA - Meeting with Guatemala film makers

The National History Museum of Guatamala shows the public a chronological history of the country by the exhibition of historic objects reflecting the economy, society and culture of Guatemala since its independence in 1821.

His Excellency also met with Mr. Miguel Alvarez, Director of the National History Museum of Guatamala. Over the years, the museum has acquired a rich collection of cultural items. Inaugurated in 1896, the current building has been declared national patrimony.

His Excellency delivered opening remarks after being introduced by Mr. Marc Johnson (left), the moderator of the discussion.

Canadian delegates including Carlos Ferrand, filmaker (left), took part in a discussion with Costarican filmakers that was held at the National History Museum.
