In Vukovar, the Governor General visited the Memorial cemetery that was created at the end of the 1991-1995 Conflict to commemorate those who died during and after the Siege of Vukovar (August – November 1991).

The Governor General was accompanied by His Excellency Mr. Stjepan Mesić, President of the Republic of Croatia. Mr. Željko Sabo, Mayor of Vukovar and Mr. Božo Galić, County Prefect were also in attendance.
