Unveiling of the 2008 Latin American Film Festival Program
His Excellency Mr. Jean-Daniel Lafond was greeted by the Ambassador of Brazil His Excellency Paulo Cordeiro de Andrade Pinto and his wife Vera Lúcia Ribeiro Estrela de Andrade Pinto for the unveiling of the program of the 2008 Latin American Film Festival. The event was held at the Ambassador's residence in Ottawa on March 19, 2008.

His Excellency, honorary patron of the 2008 Latin American Film Festival, along with Executive Director of the Canadian Film Institue Tom Mc Sorley, at the residence of the Ambassador of Brazil. The Festival is a joint initiative by the Canadian Film Institute and the embassies of Peru, Costa Rica, Uruguay, Venezuela, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, El Salvador, the Dominican Republic, Honduras, Guatemala, Haiti, Mexico, Paraguay, and Panama.
