Governor General to undertake official visit to Quebec

OTTAWA, Ontario—Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, will undertake an official visit to Quebec on May 4, 2022.  

During this visit, Her Excellency will meet with His Honour the Honourable J. Michel Doyon, Lieutenant Governor of Quebec; François Legault, Premier of Quebec; and François Paradis, President of the National Assembly of Quebec. She will also have the opportunity to inspect the Royal 22e Régiment and meet with Indigenous leaders during her first official visit to the Citadelle.

Her Excellency will conduct an official inspection of a quarter guard of honour of the Royal 22e Régiment at the Citadelle.
