Sallie Murphy is passionate about helping youth with disabilities enjoy horseback riding through the Halifax Area Leisure and Therapeutic Riding (HALTR) program and Canadian Therapeutic Riding Association (CanTRA). For more than 20 years, she has been a riding instructor, coordinator and trainer of fellow volunteers, as well as Atlantic zone representative of CanTRA and president of HALTR.
