Gillian Heginbottom

Gillian Heginbottom is a founding member of the Quebec Association for Independent Living. In 1994, she helped found Quail House, a permanent residence for English-speaking or bilingual developmentally challenged adults in the lower Gatineau Valley. She has been the driving force in its fundraising initiatives for the last 15 years, notably through the sale of her renowned jams and chutneys, and her handcrafted quilts.
