Over the past 20 years, Jim Browne has been involved in the Royal Canadian Air Force Association and the Royal Canadian Legion, and has served as the lead drummer of the 49th Field Regiment Royal Canadian Artillery Pipes and Drums Band since 2002. He also enjoys volunteering with youth as a sports coach and through the Royal Canadian Air Cadet movement.
