For a decade, Annette Godsell was a certified car seat technician and instructor with Kids in Safe Seats, which holds public clinics to ensure child seats are safely installed in cars. At St. Patrick’s Church, she worked in the food bank and on several committees; she currently volunteers with the palliative care unit of the Leonard A. Miller Centre in St. John’s.
