Through hard work and dedication, Eric Alessandrini, a retired firefighter from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, has organized fundraising activities that have raised thousands of dollars over 40 years for such well-known organizations as the Ontario March of Dimes and the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation. His 30-year involvement as volunteer director of fundraising for the Muscular Dystrophy Association also clearly demonstrates his commitment as a truly dedicated volunteer.
