In 2001, Val McIntyre played an integral role in creating International Hope Canada, where she continues to coordinate shipments of usable medical equipment and supplies to developing countries around the world. She also helps to improve lives locally and globally as a volunteer with Al-Anon and the Jubilee Fund.
