Larry Pempeit has been a leader and activist for Albertans living with a disability for more than 30 years. Through his work with the Handicapped Housing Society of Alberta, the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital and other charitable committees, he has helped many individuals with disabilities gain greater independence and access, and has fostered the growth of a more inclusive community.
