Carol Manning has fostered a culture of caring at Selwyn House School by encouraging students to volunteer in the community and by overseeing a number of student-led initiatives, notably donation drives in support of the NDG Food Depot, a local food bank. She has also been serving meals to the city's homeless population through Montréal's Christ Church Cathedral for the past 18 years.
