For 21 years, Philip Herbst has made weekly trips to visit with veterans at the Perley and Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre. He also served on the centre’s resident council and helped raise funds for a new bus. In addition, he has volunteered with the Royal Canadian Legion and the Royal Canadian Dragoons Army Cadets.
