President of the Student Action Leadership Team at St. Mary’s High School, Chiamaka Onwuekwe has inspired others to be socially active, has fundraised thousands of dollars for cancer research, the poor, and the homeless, and has raised awareness of global social issues affecting youth. She also volunteers with the city by teaching kids to swim.
