In 2009, Patrick Armstrong founded the Dave Mounsey Memorial Fund, a non-profit organization that ensures access to automated external defibrillators (AED). As executive director, he holds fundraisers to purchase AEDs and donate them in memory of soldiers, paramedics, police officers or firefighters killed in the line of duty.
