Donald Shaver has been a member and volunteer with the Osgoode Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion for over 50 years, serving in various executive positions. In 1972, he started the annual steak BBQ fundraiser that still takes place every August. He promotes and assists with the weekly dinners and with darts activities.
