Larry Gollner has been assisting veterans and their families over the past 15 years. As chair of the Greater Victoria Afghanistan Memorial Project Society, he secured community support and funds for the creation and unveiling of the monument, which commemorates military and civilian personnel who lost their lives in the Afghan conflict.
