Terry Sleightholm has coached youth competitive baseball and minor hockey, and has served in various capacities with the Royal Canadian Legion, where he continues to produce its quarterly newsletter. He also visits regularly with veterans at two different centres, where he reads to them and escorts them to chapel on Sundays.
