Maurice Lapointe has been actively volunteering with the scouts for 66 years. Known as the oldest and longest-serving member of the Association des scouts du Canada, he has contributed 47 years as a scout leader, and was the former director general of his district. He has been vice-president of his zone's board of directors since 2004.
