As the director of the Pirujat Pangnirtung Food Pantry, Rose-Desiree Ze Meka has helped bring together a community affected by both hunger and poverty. By liaising with both governments and local residents, she has succeeded in creating the food bank and through innovative programming brought food security to this northern hamlet.
