In addition to his 25 years with the Cape Breton Naval Veterans Association and his work with the Sea Cadets, John Brewer has been a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for over two decades. Apart from his duties in his long-held position of service officer, he has promoted Canada's military heritage through his work in his community.
