Irene Lawton has volunteered with the Pembina Lobstick Historical Society and its museum for more than 15 years, playing an instrumental role in getting funding and approval for a new building to house the museum’s artifacts. As president of the Society, she has dedicated countless hours to ensuring that Tipple Park Museum is a place where coal, train, pioneer and agricultural history come alive for area residents and tourists.
