Maurice Loiselle has volunteered in various capacities for more than 60 years, notably with the Ottawa Heart and Stroke telethons, where he helped raise tens of thousands of dollars. A member of the Royal Canadian Legion for more than 26 years, he has received 5 medals and awards including a lifetime membership, and is currently a sergeant-at-arms.
